Becky Wall
Treasurer & Board Member
Becky Wall, treasurer for Myhre Syndrome UK and Europe. She is very proud to be a part of
establishing the charity, She has years of experience working as the chair person on a PTFA
board, fundraising and organising events within the school community and being a spokes person
for the parents. Becky alongside her husband have there own Heating Engineer business where
she takes the role of admin and the business finances.
Becky who’s daughter Maddie was diagnosed at the age of 9 in 2018 has dedicated her time to
raising awareness and funds for the rare syndrome, communicating with specialists to hopefully
build a future Myhre clinic here in the UK. She is also proactive in setting up Myhre family get
togethers.
She started as a Manager in retail, recruiting and training fellow colleagues and supporting others
around the country. After 7 years in this sector Becky was ready to marry and start a family and so
moved into a slightly less demanding and local job in Health and Leisure as a secretary.
Becky lives in beautiful Herefordshire with her Husband Alex (who likes to take up a challenge or
two to raise awareness and funds for Myhre). They have two amazing children Freddie and
Maddie, Becky is very proud of Big brother Freddie as he is super supportive to his sister and is a
great advocate towards Myhre syndrome.
Becky enjoys spending all of her spare time with her family, they enjoy lots of weekends away
mainly on rollercoasters or in theatres watching musicals. She is quite in favour of a sunny beach
holiday too!
